Having to replace water pump on my 2009 ML63 - What is reasonable for cost?

Part plus 3 hours labour Id say. A good indy will be half the labour rate of the stealer. Genuine water pump is US$430

Thanks for the response. As I have called around the part price ranges from 4500-4600, but the labor cost stated is 9-12 hours???? That's just seems quite high.

$4600 for a water pump and 12 hours? Are you sure you're asking for the right thing? Did you look at the previous link?

just looking at my parts catalog at the water pump for a 164 chassis ML63 and 156 engine

1. ML 63 AMG
2. Chassis: C164177
3. 63J
4. Engine: D156980

part number for the water pump is probably 156-200-06-01-80, i do have a note that Mercedes says it will require a new pulley, most likely a new part design where the old idler pully will not fit on the new water pump.
if you give me ya vin # I can get you the correct part number from my catalog. but part pricing is no more than 400-600 will the core charge.
