soft close doors
I just bought a 2015 and it has the soft close door feature. One of the doors (passenger front) does not 'pull' itself closed when partially shut. All the other doors work fine. Does anyone have any information on this system, its components, troubleshooting, etc. I have searched here and google and cant find much. I'm thinking maybe the latch mechanism in the door needs to be replaced but would prefer to directly diagnose first if possible.

Get yourself a scanner and scan the door module it could quite possibly tell you exactly what is wrong.

i have one and there are no error codes for the door module. I can hear it trying to pull the door closed, but it's not working.

I would check it for adjustment then if you can hear it working. It must catch onto something to make it pull in.

Check if it’s catching properly listen for any unusual sounds. If it’s not pulling, something might be stuck or misaligned. Inspect it closely.
