Air Strut Part Numbers

I have a 2014 ML63 with just 59K miles.

Just like PeteyV below, my front left Air Strut exploded while I was driving in town at around 45mph.
Hissing noise so I drove the car back home and parked it.
I have been doing some OEM part search and I come up with 2 part numbers designed for the AMG.
166-320-13-68 and 292-320-27-00 that both show up compatible with my car.

The 292-320-27-00 seems to be a little bit cheaper online (www.mboemparts.com, www.mercedespartsstore.com, www.mbpartscenter.com and other dealer online sites).
Does anybody have experience using the 292 parts? Will I have any problems installing it?
I would appreciate any help regarding the above.
Thank you.

Stick with the 166 part number for your 2014 ML63. The 292 number is for a different model, likely a W292 platform car. It might bolt on but the ride height and tuning could be wrong for your W166, leading to suspension and electronic issues. Don't risk it. Buy the correct 166-320-13-68 strut.
