Soundgate COMAND Auxiliary input AUXMB1
This was removed from my 01 S500 before trading it in. It was used to connect a portable Sirius unit. It comes with the ground loop isolator. Pls PM me if interested.
The Soundgate AUXMB1 is the industry’s first fiber optic Auxiliary input converter that will allow ANY auxiliary audio source such as an iPod, MP3 player, DVD or Satellite radio, to be input directly into the fiber optic system of the Mercedes - no more FM modulators! Includes all fiber optic cabling and power cables necessary for a complete and clean installation.
The AUXMB1 is compatible with 1999 thru 2004 Mercedes "D2B" fiber optic radios, including those with navigation. Can NOT be used when a factory CD changer is installed, as this device connects to the same CD changer connections in the vehicle.
Important Application Note: The AUXMB1 is NOT compatible with the "MOST" fiber optic systems present in the 2003 and newer E-Class and 2004 and newer S-Class Mercedes Benz.
