2013 ML550: Paladium Silver, Brown Satin Ash
I consider the leather wheel to be far superior. The wood can also be too hot to touch in summer.
And for interests sake, I have ordered the satin Ash on the recommendations of this forum. I have never seen it.
Apparently there are currently no ML's in MB or dealer stock with it in Australia, and only 5 other MB cars with it (C or E class).

Thanks for the pics, something to drool over for the next 5 months.
Yes the wrapped dash is standard here for the 350, but I would have ordered it anyway.
I do have it in the present 164, and although we wanted a change, deleting that would not be an option.
Therefore we selected the grey/black leather with the ash.

Well, very hard to do the interior justice. I assure you the brown is much darker than the lighter pictures, best seen in the back seat shots, IMO. Hope this give you a good representation of reality, short of stopping by sometime...

And I am also seriously considering the designo leather. I've seen the designo Brown/Black in the ML63 with Brown Satin Ash wood trip and didn't like it so much. It would be one thing if the wrapped dash were black, but in the designo version it's brown leather, and the brown is redish, which doesn't match that well the Brown Satin Ash...especially in certain light.

I tossed over the idea of brown/black also. But when I saw a CL with grey/black interior with palladium silver, I was convinced thats for me. Good luck whichever way you go!

I debated the wood steering wheel also, but I have a wife who is perpetually chilly. Had to go for the heated wheel for her. Keep your honey happy!
