cigarette lighter and hot/cold cupwarmers not working
Hi all
today i actually wanted to use my Heated cup holders, and when i press the switch, it does not work, no hot or cold. For some reason, the light remains on in the "heating" position, even after i remove the key from ignition, but it does not heat.
then i pressed on the cigarette lighter, and it does not pop back out
any ideas? fuse maybe?

Polar Bear: W163 keys will no longer be supplied by MB. My Mechanic told me that if I get another key, it is not likely programmable to my vehicle. He told me that they have some vin-centric method of telling the on-board computer what key will work, and to use a different key, MB (and only MB, BTW) can replace the computer and program it to enable the new key. I find that hard to believe, but knowing MB, it may be so.
Therefore, don't lose your W163 keys.
There were like 3 other vehicle types on the letter, but since I didn't own any of them, I didn't pay attention. But it's probably the vehicles that use that switchblade-style square boxy key.
