Hello. My name is Tony. I purchased a 2002 S430 with 150,000 for my wife. I must say I have never paid much attention to these cars. However, after driving it a few times and taking a closer look at the engineering that goes into thses machines, I must say I am really impressed. Looking forward to getting some help keeping this awsone machine away from the dealer mechanics.
My name is Bill and I am in a suburb of Phoenix, AZ. I recently bought a 2003 CLK 320 for my son's first car, and we absolutely love it. Everybody in the family is a little jealous, including me, and we all love driving it. It does have a couple small problems that we knew about when buying it, and I am trying to figure out where in this forum to ask mechanical questions for this car. Any help is appreciated.
Hi everyone, I recently purchased a 2014 Mercedes C300 Sport (AMG Package) and I wanted to share with you guys a picture. The first thing I modified on the car was the exhaust, as I added an X pipe to replace the resonator and I am so happy I did so ! Below you guys will find a picture of my car and also I created a YouTube video of the X Pipe review so anyone on here can watch and determine if they should do it or not I definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about it, I got it from Amazon for like $80 dollars and got it installed at a local exhaust shop for $100 so it was a really cheap mod and it sounds great!
Let me know what you guys think about it either on here or on the YouTube video. Looking forward to engaging with everyone!
I have been in and out of the forum since 2005 when I purchased my C55 AMG. Back then there were few owners that were interested in performance modifications. My background, I was previously a sponsored open wheel race car driver for several years. Spent many hours in the shop dynoing motors, and prepping for race weekends. I raced throughout the Southwest from PIR, Irwindale, Big Willow and Streets of Willow to name a few. After burning through my kids inheritance, I jumped on the motocross/desert racing circuit. Raced with my teenage son and did all tuning and mods. Drove my C55 until I decided to hand it down to my 18-year-old daughter (I told her she can only drive and C mode lol). I recently picked up a low mileage 2014 C63 AMG Edition 507. I'm having great fun using it as my daily driver, but ready to throw some mods on. 1st thing I did was to replace the tires to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S all around. I think I've already made the mistake of not going 2 sizes over. Glad to see now there are many performance oriented members now.

Hi. my name is Rakesh. Just started on this forum and looking forward to getting new information about my car and being able to understand my car even better. Im interested in finding out how to install my passenger side rear window. I've already taken the door panel off but unfortunately, need some guidance on how to complete the task. I have a 2000 E340. Thanks for your help! Rakesh.
I live in NY and Florida, snowbird, and have owned 5 Benz's. Started with a 190E 2.3, 300D, two E320's, C250 and a ML-350. I have traded or sold all of them and presently own a CLK-350 and GL-450. I had some nice pics of my CLK but can't seem to find them at the moment.
Hi all. Just joined the group having just traded my GLK350 for a new GLC43 SUV. I now have a set of MB winter wheels/tires (17” rims with brand new tires) from the old car which, according to MB, can’t be used on the GLC. I don’t particularly want to buy a new winter package, so does anyone know if there is a way to use them on the GLC (eg spacers).
Hi Guys, I really just created an account to say thank you. I haven't had many problems with my ML320 but information I got on this site has helped me with all of them. I'm currently working on a misfire problem that I believe is due to the catalytic converter(s) that I diagnosed with info on this site. Thanks again!

You might want to check your cylinder valves. Your cylinder might be getting flooded. That in turn might be damaging your catalytic converter.

Thanks, I haven't thought of that. I'll run a compression check just to make certain but as smooth as the engine runs at idle (after resetting the computer) I don't expect that to be a problem.

My name is Javier. I own a C63 amg 2009 I bought it used with 103k. So far I haven’t been able to enjoy my beautiful car and I’ve owned it for 2 years now and I’ve only been able to put in 12k miles on it. First week in I get a coolant light and I checked and everything was fine and next thing you know my exhaust starts blowing white smoke and my car shuts down. And it turned out I had a leak where the coolant went into my engine and it destroyed it... lol I have many more stories with this car but it’s running now. Well that’s my car and hello everyone !!

Hello everybody. My name is Prentice. My wife and I live in Southwestern Indiana, USA. We have two E-Series Mercedes: my wife drives the white 2007 E350 which we purchased in 2010; and I drive the black 2013 E550 4Matic which we purchased in 2016. I call the E550 an "old man's hotrod" as it has 402 HP and is nosebleed-fast. I'm a real fan of V8 engines, and this one is a dandy. On the road it gets 28 MPG.
