Hello all! Got my dream car coming in. Excited to work on it to get as much power as possible while keeping the classic stance of the car. I’ve always loved S classes and now I own an older s63! I look forward to learning about tuning and how I can truly make my car… my car. I’d like to change the wheels, wrap it wonderful colors, and did I mention tune it? Haha… I’m getting ahead of myself because I need to wait a few months before I customize this car. I look forward to helping wherever I can! Thanks for the awesome forums I can look into! Will take a pic of the car once it’s here!

Returning member now has a 2018 E400 4Matic wagon. I am back in the fold again. My first question- I purchased a "Factory Service Manual" for this car. It came on a USB stick and is pretty useless. It just refers to (I think) factory specific site numbers and says nothing about how to do anything. Does anyone know how to get access to the numbers that are referred to in this manual, or know of an old fashioned pictures/ words version?

Go back to whoever supplied you the stick and ask for installation instructions. The manual runs on a virtual machine so needs to be installed on your computer.
Thanks. I did install it on Virtual Box but had problems, so they sent it to me in PDF format. That is how I am viewing it. The few sections I saw on the Virtual Box were the same. The mention of a procedure with some notes and a reference to a series of numbers that are not links to anything.

Are you saying that if I get the Oracle Virtual Box downloaded properly that this existing manual will be useable? That a fairly mechanical DYI person can use it to maintain/repair their car?

Hi all,
this is Fahd I purchased my E300 4matic back in 2017…I didnt join the forum up until recently…nice to meet y’all and I love how the forums here are super responsive and helpful!!
I found easymanuals.co.uk online. They claim "Factory Mercedes Manuals". It is thousands of pages, covering all Mercedes since 1986 or something. Way too much information. .

Glad to be here! Thanks in advance for your patience and helpfulness. I'm slowly figuring this forum thing out. So you can only imagine how lost I am, in terms of troubleshooting and working on my 2009 C300. I'm a USAF veteran, journeyman F16 crew chief. I can launch a jet, troubleshoot and repair air frame and powerplant, but it's a little different working on a 3.0 liter V6. Hats off to anyone who knows their way around a MB. Looking forward to learning from all the experience around here. Every day I wake up, is an opportunity to grow and learn something new, and maybe even help someone else along the way.

Checking in! Here is a pic of my 2015 CLS63 AMG S. Lots of fun Renntech upgrades, wheels and carbon fiber. In the process of making some carbon fiber side skirts and front lip to finish her off.
New member. Looking forward to gaining as much knowledge as possible from this forum.
Traded in my '14 Infiniti Q50 for an '18 C43 - white w/black interior. Love the car. So much fun to drive. My old q50 I did intakes, HFC's, exhaust, carbon fiber accents, amd a ecutech tune. Once my warranty expires I'll be doing air intakes, BOV, and down pipes.
Does anyone know if the down pipes on a 2018 c43 amg are catted?

Hi my name is Roy and we have a 2012, R350. My wife loves this car, it probably the first car I have picked out that she likes this much. I would like to know how to get around the website a little better. I do have a couple of technical questions.

First time Mercedes Benz owner, and first time AMG owner at that. Last of the premium germans that have graced our garage, after many years of Audi, Porsche some recent BMW's which have stood the test of time, and now a new to me, 2020 GLC 43 AMG in Mohave Silver on 21's. Overall really happy with this purchase, having had the Audi SQ5 and Tesla Y DM and just before this, the BMW X3 this has finally quenched the thirst of raucous sound, just enough power and phenomenal handling. While , in my opinion, it doesn't have as much of the duality as the SQ5 of comfortable utility vehicle and then sporty road demon, it's not what I wanted and appreciate the constant feeling of it wanting to jump out of its chassis when I'm carefully trying to park and not scare the carpark moms
Excited to be a part of the forum, have already learnt a ton about the wonderful shimmy I feel when turning to full lock so going to get that checked out soon ...
Dealer pics - but the 9 masquerading as 5 spoke wheels are gorgeous to me Interior truly a class above the X3 and honestly so lose, maybe as good as the SQ5. Definitely feels special While I gave up heated steering wheel (maybe dumb decision for MN winters) but I gained the sport controls and makes selecting sports modes so much easier

Hello everyone, I have been lurking the forums for a while and finally decided to join. I'm Michael and currently live in Milwaukee, Wi.
I have a 2016 E350 wagon (which I love) I got it to replace my first (and last?) SUV. I needed 7 seats for the family, and regretted trading in my old wagon. Super pleased with the rear facing seats and so are my 8 and 10 year olds.
Also have a 1974 350 SLC imported from Italy (where my father lives) a couple years ago. Currently my only manual transmission car (all cars prior to the SUV had to be manual to be considered for ownership).
Hey all, I picked up a 2018 C63S coupe a few months back. Coming from a 2009 335i coupe that I had for 10 years. Spent a lot of time picking out this car; cross shopped LC500s, older 911s, etc etc. Relative value proposition couldn't be beat. First MB, no real complaints thus far!
