No more lurking!
I've owned my 2012 C63 AMG Coupe in Magnetite Black Metallic for about a year (7k amazing miles), and thought I'd start posting stuff since I intend to keep my V8 beast for quite a while.

Greetings from Los Angeles, California!

There will always be someone hating on your nice whip. Laugh at them with me

Cheers!

Hello everyone. I just bought the cheapest E55 AMG in US.
Hi. I got myself a 2003 Silver E55. I live in Puerto Rico. Funny story. This car was at an auction and they couldn’t start the car cause battery was dead, I jump started from the footwell after paying just $2,100 for the car! It turn out to be ok, Just a bad alternator. Im in love

with the car. Still can’t open the trunk from the key, valet key in trunk turns but does not open, interior switch does not open the trunk, since is a e55 the rear seat does not fold down. Any advice will be really appreciated!

Hello,

I’m Patrick and I’m from Washington State. Just purchased my first MB last week- a 2014 C300 4Matic Sport and I’ve got the mod bug. I’m making the jump from a Bagged 2007 3.6L 4Motion Passat Variant that I probably threw waaaay too much money at in upgrades/modifications but if I had it to do all over again.

I have a background in aviation maintenance through the military and now I work for the state here in Washington. I hope these cars are as easy to modify as I’m looking to make a few subtle ones here soon.

I’ll add some pictures later....

Introduction
Hi, I live in the United Kingdom and enjoying my retirement. Most of my working life was spent on heavy diesel automotive engines but specializing on Cummins units. My first Merc was a W211 E320 Brabus (a part exchange with a Harley) a car which was miles apart from previous Fords that I had owned. Sadly it met its end when my wife wrapped it around a tree, she telephoned me to tell me of her accident, and my first question was 'is the car alright' - what a mistake that was. My love of Merc's continued and some time ago I got a low mileage S320 W220 to see me through my last years of driving. The only failure I had is the swirl flap linkage falling apart which I modified with stainless steel ball joints. What a fantastic car it has been.
I hope to be able to contribute to this great forum.

Hi!
Hi everyone. I’m Andy from Sacramento, California.

In 2012 I purchased a 2009 e350 sport. Fell in love. Traded her in for a 2014 s550 in November of 2015. Lowered her put her on 22” color matched vossen wheels. Tint all around. She is beautiful. Wife took her because her car no longer with us.

I was poking around on CL the other day looking for tools for my shop and some how stumbled across a w108 1969 280s that was an unfinished project.

I have wanted one of these since I was a kid. And I know the purist are going to hate me because I’m the new generation of custom/restomod. But this car was well taken care of. And will be awesome when I’m done. It’s a 4 door so don’t get too upset when I customize it. Please! I hope I can find friends on here we can build something really cool. Anyways enough flapping. Here is the canvas and a few shots of possible option. I’ll post more in proper category. Nice to meet all of you and please if you have positive criticism I’m fine with that. But negativity please deposit that into your own mailbox! I don’t need it and don’t care for it. Positivity only. Thank you!

Mine got stuck too...
Quote: Hello and thanks for the welcome!! After test driving an MB earlier in Autumn 2012, I fell in love with the smooth ride. I bought a well maintained 2006 E350 4MATIC and I absolutely love it!! However, yesterday I discovered the eyeglass compartment will no longer open. Is there a quick fix I can perform or do I need to see the MB Service Department?
Which case are you referring to? On my 2013 E350, there was a pop-open case on my dashboard, next to the glove compartment. Used to keep spare change in there, until It got stuck one day. Couldn’t get the case opened. Dealer charged me $135 for 20 minutes of work to remove a coin stuck up on the inside. Never kept anything else in that box ever again. Costly lesson...

Kevin here in surface of the sun hot Phoenix Az. Purchased a 2007 s600 with a bad motor. I'm a car guy from way back, so it doesn't scare me. Gives me something to do during these times.

Hi there, I'm Kira.

In the beginning of June someone fell asleep behind the wheel of the their car and smashed into our parked Hyundai totaling it (the driver is ok). My husband Nate talked me into getting a 2000 CLK 320 Cabriolet (we make sure to never park on that street anymore) and I'm so glad he did! I love this ol' gal. She only had 58k miles on her! I found this forum combing the internet for DIY upgrade and maintenance how to's. I just rewired the cigarette lighter to a usb adapter and now i'll trying my hand at upgrading the head unit. Really appreciate all the great resources here!
