Hello everyone, my name is Jesse...I purchased a 2004 E320 about 3 months ago...I previously owned a 1990 Lexus LS400, I had it for almost 6 years with very little repairs needed. When I owned the Lexus, I joined a message forum for Lexus very similar to this one...I found that forum so helpful in helping me do minor repairs or just figure things out about the car...I am hoping this forum does the same for me for my E320.
Because my E320 is 17 years old...I am sure there will be things that will need to be fixed or repaired that do not necessarily require a visit to the MB "Workshop". I just received a message saying that the brakes are worn and to take to Workshop. Already with this website...I was able to figure out that I can change the brakes all the way around on my own without having to take it to a MB dealer or my regular mechanic...Nice...

Hi my name is Patrick .I own a 2010 GLK350.I live in Abingdon Virginia. Some growing pains cracked rim cracked exhaust pipe lots of bulbs now it needs an intake manifold.I have used the forum as a visitor so I decided to join.
I have been on the forum on and off for awhile. I have a 2006 SL65 that Henrich Fisker put a 2009 body on. It is admittedly an odd vehicle. I used to have Mike Haven at Haven Automotive Services in Houston take care of it. I moved to Saratoga Springs NY and would like some advice to find expert MB mechanic that will take on weird stuff.

Hi Jesse and welcome to MBWorld. Thanks for the intro and sharing the photos of your E-Class. It looks in great condition. Congratulations!
I recently changed my Mercedese benz E400 2018 with E450 2021 sedan. The car is loaded with Premium Package, Comfort Package, Technology Package, Night Package, Intelligent Drive Package, Acoustic Comfort Package and Dash cam. Unfortunately, the TCU module is missing and they have not given the exact timelines for fitting this. Various functions like mercedese me connect, e call emergency system, MB in car apps, incar wifi, extended MBUX functions, live traffic information, navigation map updates, remote services, guard 360 plus, energizing Comfort Package and Dash Cam are NOT available. Any views or experience of any member who bought this car.
Hi! My name is Michaela. I'm in SoCal. Just purchased my 1st MB! 2006 SLK 350. I love the car. It handles very well. The paint and interior are emmaculate........ except.....there is a strong odor of old-stanky oil/gas inside the cabin and surrounding the car coming into the cabin, while driving. It's smells bad whether the top is up or down. I've owned this car for 6 days. The dealership who sold it to me claims to not smell any bad odor. Although one guy at the dealership agreed the cabin filter needed to be replaced. Which they did. The air coming from the a/c smells cleaner now. But the odor surrounding the car and in the cabin are too hideous to be ok. My clothing and hair smells of it after driving. The dealership offered a $3400 after-market extended warranty with Veritas Global. Veritas has very low ratings on YELP. I may or may not buy an extended warranty. In the meantime, I need to resolve this smelly odor issue! This is majorly putting a damper on my MB experience. Any advice?
Hi @MComp and welcome to MBWorld. Can’t help you with your issue, but try posting to the SLK forum where other SLK owners may be able to help you out. Beautiful looking SLK by the way. Never seen one in that colour before. All the best with it
Hello all my name is AJ and I just purchased my first Mercedes. It is a 2004 CLK500 with 61k miles. I love the car but its not without its faults. I'm learning how to make it 100% again and this forum has been a great help. Its about time I contribute when I can with what I have learned so far.

2016 Mini Cooper S, 2019 Santa Fe, 2022 AMG A35 (ETA Nov. 2021)
Hey everyone, newbie here from Ontario Canada. I'm currently waiting for delivery on my 2022 AMG A35.
Can someone tell me which port is 701B70107? I got an update from my sales person that the car is already on Bremerhaven port waiting for dispatch. I got this port of destination from the screenshot he sent me. I just want to know if this port is in Halifax or Baltimore.
Thank you to everyone who contributes to this forum. I've been tapping into all the good info here for the past eight years. I drive a 2013 GLK350 4MATIC, and just ordered a 2022 GLC300 4MATIC. It will be my first new car ever, and I'm excited about it! Grateful for the forum so I can hear how other people who've placed orders are faring with the supply chain disruptions.
Hi, my name is Lyle. Just bought a 2021 GLC63 AMG and joined mbworld hoping to learn more about my first Mercedes and hoping to bring value to the members as well.
Good evening/morning/afternoon.
Have owned a couple of CLK's previously but always fancied an SL and have been looking for a good example for 2-3 years and found one very recently.
Extremely nice outstanding condition for its age with just 2 previous owners.
This SL350 will be my retirement vehicle and am looking forward to clocking up some miles in the years to come!
And I hope to post on the forum on a regular basis and learn from the wealth of knowledge on MBWorld.
Hi There,
New to the MB brand but have always admired from a distance. Am a full blown lover of wagons so I finally found a mint 2015 e400 wagon and joined the MB world. Looking forward to learning a lot and exchanging feedback.
Cheers,
Dave
Adopted the younger sibling last week..09 C300 4Matic
Found it at work, was an insurance loss, buyback then eventual trade in I believe.. thus the un-passable deal.
headrests were deployed and the rear bumper is slightly creased and paint chipped.
multiple lighting error messages, expecting to replace Sam based on searches here.
Havent picked it up yet.. and of course I was in my duramax the day I found it so didn’t have the icarsoft but seemed to run and drive good.
Will be more to come after I pick it up this weekend!
