New to forum. I just sold my '07CLK 350 and am comitted to purchasing an AMGC63S this coming year. I just wanted to read advice regarding the purchase and share the passion I have for MB. I may reach out with questions moving forward and I hope that they aren't considered "dumb" as I am not a gearhead. Thanks to all for providing such a useful forum!

how’s it going. You can call me ALLNATY on here. Just bought myself a 2012 c63 coupe with 45k miles on it. Came with weistec headers/x-pipe and a tune. Has the P31 Package, Harmon kardon, multi media package, black interior, pano roof. Etc. Pretty loaded. Absolutely in love with this car so far. Taking it to the track in the near future so I’ll post times up on here.
Hello, New to the forum, proud owner of a 2015 C300 400 matic. Looking for any and all advice for mods to make this daily driver even quicker. And any advice on exterior modifications too would be great! Looking forward to being apart of the forum!
Hi. Just bought a '98 SL600, dark blue metallic Sport. Looking forward to playing with it, especially getting it in top shape and riding the way it should. I have previously owned two MB 300 SE Coupes, a '64 and a '66. Both were stick shifts with factory air bag suspensions, the 64 a rare 5-speed and the '66 a 4-speed. Also previously owned a 126 body 280SE 4-speed manual and a 450 SEL 6.9 with the hydraulic suspension. Was also into Citroens in a big way, with two SMs, a '72 5 speed and a '73 3L 5spd in top shape, also a '71 DS-21 Pallas, a Cx GTI, and a Xantia with active suspension. Also once owned a '55 Packard Clipper Super V8 with self leveling torsion bar suspension (electric adjustments) which was also an interesting car (super advanced auto trans too with a 5-element torque converter, snow mode, and pumps on both the input and output shafts). Other cars have included a Renault R15, Alfa GT coupe, and numerous Audis. All fun! My current driver is an AWD Ford Edge since I live in South Dakota these days. Cheers Jay
My name is Ryan, I'm from South Africa. I bought a Silver C32 AMG last year in April, but had to return it to the used car dealer a month later because it kept draining the battery when parked, and the front left fender wheel arch guard kept falling off...
But I liked it so much I bought another one in August 2018, which works perfectly, and I plan to keep it as long as is reasonable. It has 180000 km on it, full service history and my only complaint is that somebody put 18 inch wheels on it...
I love a good bargain and for me the C32 AMG is the best bang for buck performance sedan you can get here, where interest rates are high and financing makes no sense.
And so it joins my 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser in my stable of old cars that other people probably wouldn't look at twice, but I love them...
Hello, my name Is Draško, I'm writing from Serbia where I work for the company which is specialized in composites manufacturing and car parts development. I got a GTR from our partner in Germany to play around for a while and I'm here to share my experiences.
Hello, my name is Markku from Finland. Now I have MB C200 A 4Matic Premium Avantgarde MY2018. Before that I have had few Merc`s like CLK 200 and C 230TA among many other cars like my previous car, Lexus IS300h.
Hi. My name is Alex Ford and I have owned my first M-B, a 1962 220S four door sedan, 4-speed on the column. I've owned 3 C350's, with each of them coming to a bad end. I've also enjoyed owning two C280's, one from brand new, a 1999 and one a 2000. The 1999 was my favorite. The 2000 model lasted to 294,000 miles, when engine and transmission gave out together. All totaled, I've driven MB 500,000 miles and overall, the car is the best I've ever owned. My wife and I have had our share of accidents and the safety cage and locking doors during accidents have saved our lives more than once. Now I face a situation where my 2014 C350 may have actually got me into an accident. So I'm joining to seek members and others' help to find out what might have happened. When the pedal pinned my foot to the floor without me pressing the accelerator, I wanted to know how my foot got there where it could be caught in this situation; and I wanted to know why the accelerator would dive down to the floor taking my foot with it. I'm on twitter but haven't used it much: @Zioo0.com or #.I live in Ventura County.Thank you to anyone who might reach out to help with this.
Hi.. Geno here.. from Western NY State... never thought I would be part of the MB family but my grandson just "gave" me his 98 C230. Has a couple of issues (wiper stops in center of windshield) and I hope to find answers here also to contribute if I can.
Hi! My name is Neill, living in Pretoria, South Africa.
I just bought my second "Old Lady"....
The first was a very well preserved and maintained 1986 W126 500SE. She was a dream. Fixed some minor DIY issues together with my (then) 11 year old son. Great times. Even my daughter (14) helped out. Sold her to her new owner who planned on doing a nuts and bolts restoration!
January 22 2019 I bought my 2nd "Old Lady"... a 1994 W124 E320 Sp
ortline with308k km on the clock. I was still in school when my Dad bought his 1st W124... a 200... quite a donkey but bulletproof. So quite a bit nostalgia in this buy.. .
She needs a lot of attention... might have bitten off more than I can chew, but trust that I'll find all the help I need on here! To date (one week of ownership), I've replaced bonnet mascot, front flex disc, complete new rear brakes, new emergency brake, left rear window mechanism, fixed headlight issues, sunroof motor, emergency flashers relay (re-soldered! Not replaced!), numerous bad electrical contacts, temporary rewiring airflow meter wires, and and and...
Next up is sorting aux fans constantly running due to previous owner's bypassing sensors, a/c working but not cooling, worn ignition, faulty cruise control and replacing cruise control steering column stalk, replace electric radio antenna, wiring harness (due to Merc's fatal biodegradable issues), rear main oil seal between engine and transmission, gearbox oil, filter and seal... read diff oil, and a proper engine service! And the list goes on! Plus some minor body work!
I hope and trust I'll get all the help and support from MBworld.org!
My name is "Ed" , I recently bought a 04 ML350 with 102,000 miles. It is in good condition & I will be caring for it. It has a few issues as with any 15 year old vehicle. Overall I see it has been treated well by previuos owners. I appreciate any advice & will definitely need the knowledge & wisdom of members here to help in my learning curve. I have worked as a mechanic for past 30+ years & looking forward to future retirement . I want to Thank All for making this a Fantastic Forum for those with Mercedes.
