My 2005 e350 4matic sprung a radiator leak. I purchased a new radiator on ebay. It took me some finesse to remove the radiator hoses from the old radiator and the worst to remove was the transmission cooler ports. Pulled the clips off completely and had to wiggle. I gave up one evening and shot some wd40 and let is sit overnight. It finally came off the next day. New radiator installed and all coolant hoses connected no problem. Transmission service ports didn't make the audible clicking sounds like the coolant hoses did. I can pull them out with one hand even though the wire clips are connected and appear to be seated properly. I've attempted to bend the clips to ensure they are sliding in the the groves but it won't hold. Any ideas.
Hi I have been looking at your site for a long while and have some useful information. I decided to join today and I have a w221 2008 S 550 and I really enjoy it. I retired due to Back problems along with two fusion surgeries on my back but am hoping that when I heal I will be doing some contracting work but no more 70 + hours a week. That is why I bought another car for the pleasure of it. I have a 1955 Chevy since i was 16 I have a 1974 MG Midget convertible and a 1987 Chevrolet IROC z with T tops and the 5.7 engine and that only has 25800 miles on it. So I am a car guy and have done my own mechanical work on all my cars. I was a general contractor and did everything from the ground up I hold a Master Plumbing License I am a Journeymen Electrician and also a Master carpenter. I still Have my excavation equipment that i still do small jobs and when I am all healed up I plan to do more work but be very picky what work I do. So i will show you pictures of my Mercedes if i figure it out . In the IROC picture you will see my 1897 wooden Lehigh Valley Caboose that I have been restoring Thank you for having me. Bob

I’m guessing there are Operating System software updates I should look for, but how? MBUX or map updates?? What’s the latest version?

We recently bought a used 2006 C230 sedan with 90k miles for our son for school. Nice example of the model though with 8 Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) codes, hence the reduced purchase price
Searched the threads on this forum for a listing of similar though did not locate - Guidance and work instructions always appreciated & welcomed!
My son & I will be doing all work ourselves, as we do the same on our other vehicles. Most tools on hand, having worked through other MB’s infamous ticks & issues (2007 E350 wagon, 2014 GL550).
DTC codes as follows:
1. 0868, low volts
2. 1108, low volts
3. 0190, throttle valve actuator fault
4. 0217, throttle jamming or stiff
5. 0522, intake tumble flap
6. 1061, load limit is active
7. P2176, throttle actuator not learned
8. P2004, intake runner
