Fantastic site!
New member and fan! Just used your wonderful forums to swap out a bad blower resistor on my wife's 2002 E320 4-Matic wagon (which we love). Had to do some gymnastics to get under the dash, but it was a quick swap. The pictures and checklist diagnostics that the forum veterans posted were instrumental (pun intended) to my success. And, the diagnostics gave me an excuse to update my multimeter to one that's auto-ranging.
Next on the list -- fixing the pesky back window motors -- both are bad. I've spotted some discussions on fixing those, so I'm headed there next. You guys are great!

2012 MB C300 4Matic Sport Sedan
New guy here, my name is Alex and I just traded my beloved 2003 B6 A4 for a 2012 W204.
I'm liking it so far but there seems to be a lack of mods for it, hence my discovery of this site! Hope to learn more about my car and what I can do without voiding the warranty.

Hi I just purchased a used 1991 300ce coupe and was wondering how to install a booster seat in the back seat. I just found out I am babysitting my little cousin today! Thank you so much

New User and MB driver
Hello everyone I wanted to introduce myself and our new 2005 CLK 500 (black on black)
It has been 7 wonderful days since we purchased our CLK.. I never thought I would own a MB and what a mistake waiting this long! This is our first convertible and what a dream ride!
I have only done the Mangaflow exhaust so far and it sounds so sweet!
We are in talks of these mods:
Much bigger rims and tires .. The AMG's are nice but looking for a more aggressive look. (Not bling)
I found a shop that can lower the MB (he had a custom clk all done to race) although I want to do some research on a ridetech/airride suspension...
BIG brake kit
This headunit has to go! The Harmon sounds clean but when the top is down its just not loud enough.
The sub that's in the car doesn't seen to be working or is it just that weak. Would love to keep the stock look just beef that up.
To tint or not to tint.... Hmmmmm
Well still reading the posts but any advice would be greatly appreciated..
I will update photos when the work gets done.

2013 GLK250 BlueTec
new to MB World and MB
Vin, from Wyoming. I been wanting a Mercedes for quite a while. I should have never waited so long to make the move to Mercedes Benz! We have a just recently got our first. It is a 2013 GLK250, I am very happy with it. just had to put fuel in it for the first time yesterday, 10 days and still had 1/4 tank. am loving the 29+ mpg so far. we are hoping to get another MB within the next year, looking towards a SLK. though I do wish they (MB) would send over the SLK with the bluetec diesel option!

Hi my name is Saoud and I'm from the UAE (United Arab Emirates) AKA Dubai.
I love benz cars, they are fascinating. My father used to have a benz garage that even the dealership would send some cars to him to fix or find out the problem. It was in the late 90s.
I have an 2005 E55 AMG Pano and its my life. I'm working on it inwards of perfomance, exterior and interior.
I really hope to find answers for tons of my questions.

Hello my name is Don, I bought a 2002 clk430 cabrio. I need some help I notice that the cylinder over the rear tire for the top is leaking, I can not find any instructions of removal of the cylinder. There are instructions of removal of the case locks, from top hydraulics. looks like the rear seat may have to be removed.
welcome to the forum! You may want to pose technical questions in the W208 forum https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class-w208-5/. The DIY instructions already on Top Hydraulics' website that you are referring to for removal of the case cover lock 2087500984 and the rear bow lock 1247700426, as well as fluid hydraulic fluid management, have been put together by forum member "joetwa": http://www.tophydraulicsinc.com/W208...eplacement.pdf They are awesome, but they do not cover the five black cylinders: 2x main lifts 2088000072, 2x bow tension 2088000172, and 1x tonneau cover lift 2088000272.
Here is a location diagram of all the cylinders in your top:
![](http://www.tophydraulicsinc.com/diagrams/CLKdiagram.jpg)
Attached below please find a pdf of shop information that another forum member has posted before for removal of the main lift cylinders aka frame cylinders 2088000072. It asks for removal of panels next to the main lifts, which I am not certain how involved this part may be. A mechanic once told me the main lifts were "easy" to remove.
Hope this helps,
Klaus

Hello MBWorld! My name is Miki and I am new to the Mercedes world! I know some may call me crazy but I have never been interested in owning one until the newly designed GL 550 came out and boy did I fall in love! So I ordered one in Feb with all the bells and whistles and waited over 3 months and through many change of production dates and finally I went to pick it up 2 weeks ago! I was so excited! To make what could be a long story a short one....The Dealership screwed up my build sheet! So now they tell me that I can't get a 2013 that it has to be 2014 and many of the features I added to my 2013 are now standard on the 2014! I was fortunate that they admitted to their mistake and promised to honor the same deal. The only bad thing is I will probably have to wait another 3 months :-(
