Hi all, Got my first merc C220 AMG SPORT PLUS ESTATE. I'm from Birmingham U.K. Only had it 3weeks ago. Will try and put some pic on.
I'm loving it needs a bit of tarting up tho to get it to my standard.
Can any one recommend wich reliable led 6000 bulb I can use on the front parking light without the warning light coming on the dash,
And where I can purchase it from.
Dose anyone know if the parking light bulb is a pull out or twist & pull to get it out.
Hope to get some tips of you guy's & learn a bit more about my C-Class.
Your parking lights use a set of 194 wedge LEDs. The dust cap is twist off, but the bulb socket is pressure held.
Sup Guys. I decided to sign up for this forum since all the people on the SLK forum seem to be close-minded and unnecessarily snooty.
This is my baby, Halibel.
Hi, my name is Travis. I own a 1985 300D with 112,000 miles. It's an original Blue plate CA car with the CA emission controls. I purchased it from the 2nd owner, who bought it from his neighbor who was the original owner. This car spent it's entire life in the Los Angeles/Pasadena area. Growing up in the 1980's some of my friend's parents drove the w123 wagons and coupes and a couple W126s, I have always been interested in MBZ for the way they look, drive and age well(most of them). I look forward to interacting with you all.
Hey whats up peeps, my name's Jonny Applegood and I'd like to post a question for assistance about a specific issue of my car - how can I do that; how can I create a new post or thread ?
Thanks

Does any one have the same concern I have, and can we make a request.
Hi,
This is the 2nd time I am sending you an email with my suggestions. I strongly believe and recommend that you do a survey from other owners as well on my concern. I own 2 Mercedes, 2013 - ML350 BT and 2015 - SLK350.
I am not at all happy with the Navigation system going Into safe mode while the vehicle is in operation. It says for safety purpose this is done on the screen but it puts drivers in to more risk as some time you need to pull over the vehicle to a full stop to enter an address and if you are on the highway you need to pull over to the shoulder and then when re merging its very dangerous and a person like me being a Realtor it is very inconvenient and very dangerous to pull over and re merge all the time as an when I have to enter an address. The Voice recognition and voice command never works. Always give the wrong address and the voice training is not success at all. I suggest rather than disabling it it’s an idea for the diver to have the option to disable or enable the option of inputting address while the vehicle is in operation. This option is available in BMW. May be you should look in to this. After buying a world class luxury vehicle you need to come to full stop to enter an address is very disturbing. Also it is very inconvenient after paying so much of money and to put the life in to risk. Also the funny thing is POI address is available while the vehicle is in operation. So I think if this was done for safety purpose then why that option is available. My suggestion is please consider it activating to enter address while the vehicle is in operation rather than inconveniencing the drivers. Please do a survey if you like to get more feedback from more drivers.
If you buy a Regular portable GPS they you don’t have to come to a full stop to enter an address and in MB it is even more sophisticated as the wheel is there to enter so the driver and keep the eye on the road and enter an address conveniently. Please think about this and fix it if possible.
Hi, my name is Borja, from San Sebastian, Basque Country. This is my Sportcoupe, I´m the second owner. I am doing a bit of restoration and improvements to It. Very confortable and silent car for the value.
Hey the names ken. I own a 99 e300 turbo diesel. Needs a lot of love so I'll be researching and will take all of the advice I can get. She has 214500 miles and I'm excited to restore her smoothness.

Simply go to the subforum you wish to post in and on the top left, you should see a button that says "New Thread". That'll allow you to create a new thread. If you need help directing you to which subforum to post for your specific vehicle, let us know what you have and we can help direct you to the right place to post your question
Hi, my name is Kierstin. I am the parts sales manager for a company called Rebuild Master Tech. We've been standardizing the coilover conversion kits for the SL's to remove the ABC suspension.
After following some of the threads on here, I just had to jump in! We mostly specialize in air suspension products but the coilover is something I've been extremely excited to have a part in. I hope to be following suspension related threads and answering questions. Please feel free to message me with any specific questions related to air suspension, coil over conversions, and any questions regarding Rebuild Master Tech!
Hi there i have a 93 w124 that i would love to 5 speed swap...
AOK Motorsports blog has a great parts list to get your started. If you google "automatic to manual transmission swap mercedes w124", it should be the first thing to pop up!
Became a member to find advise about my 2011 Mercedes C300 (29,000 miles) as why it is flooding with rain water. Please see my thread for details. Any advise would be most appreciated!!:
Hey mbworld, been lurking around the forum for a while now and decided to join. I own a 2011 C350 and look forward to hanging out with some MB enthusiasts as well!
Glad to be a member of this excellent discussion forum. Here's the '03 SL500 I drive. Only 31k miles. Toying with the idea of selling this and one other car to make room for an S550 sedan.

Do you see where the flooding is coming in from or is it just pooling in the carpet on the floor?

Welcome to MBWorld. Great low mileage SL! Completely different mindset from the S class though... sporty roadster vs land yacht. Can't go wrong either way.
Can anyone help me figure out why all my interior lights do not work. the function all work, the dash bulbs and fuses look good. I just don't have any backlight. Consol, Dash, Radio and Heater.
Hi All - just purchased a 2009 CL 63 AMG back in April. I switched from an Infiniti FX35 to this car. I'm adjusting to the several stops/stares that I get when I drive. I'm also learning how to drive/take care of this car, for there are many features in which I'm still discovering.

She looks absolutely stunning sexy! Definitely a head turner. Ever think about blacking out the window chrome trim?
I need some help! Turning in c300 off lease and looking for numbers on 2015 or 16 c300 msrp @ 52k. I live in NYS. Need 36 month with 12k miles. Which year is a better deal in my area. Have until Dec to do this. Thanks
Sorry, but I could not figure how to start a new post.
But I am fairly new here and need some help. I have a 2012 C250 & my driver's seat is off track. So does anyone know where i can get it repaired in Dallas/Fort Worth other than the dealership. They said something got lodged underneath & broke it, so it's not covered under the warranty. Now the left side of the seat moves but the right does not, causing it to basically twist almost. Just looking for some repair facility suggestions that won't rob me as the dealership is attempting to do.

Have you tried removing the seat yourself to take a look? It's not too difficult to pop the seat assembly off as it's just bolted down. Might be something as simple as removing something lodged in the tract. Otherwise, it's probably something most body shops can take a look at and potentially repair as it's a simple part swap most likely. If you can see what part is broken, might be able to get a part number and just order yourself so you'd just pay for straight labor with the shop.

Good luck
MB Service took it apart & nothing was lodged in it. But they said they could see a point of contact where something HAD been lodged beneath the seat. (former csi techs i guess) So that makes it not be covered by the warranty. But for a mere $760 bucks they can fix it for me.
I will go the parts & labor route. Will check with a collision center. Thanks for the feedback!
