Front Differential Worn and Other Repairs
Hi All,
I'm brand new to the Forum and need a reality check.
I drive a 2006 R 350. Around 78k miles.
I've just received an estimate from my dealer which in total is for $6000 plus. The bulk for a worn front differential.
From what I can see on this Forum, failed differentials are quite common at the 75k mark.
It would seem there must be an alternative to the price quoted below.
I've a recommendation on some other MB repair shops, but would like to be prepared going in. Would anyone kindly let me know their thoughts on what I should be paying here?
Alternatively, anyone want to buy my car?
