Mercedes S550
Extended Warranty
I just bought a 2008 S550 with 59K mi on it. Just wondering if anyone could recommend an extended warranty that does not cost half of what I paid for the car. Lot of these warranties are scams and just want to avoid getting into that mess. Thanks

Welcome! I have USAA on my S600 & CL65 they have been great company to deal with. Hey if you are interested, I'm selling my newest version 2014 Nav DVD for $145.00 I just paid $249.00 at the dealership. It works/updates on 2007 - 2009 S Class. Enjoy your new Benz!!

Before purchasing an extended warranty , check the company out on the web.If they turn up on " Scam Report" its better to know before you buy. That includes the " Free Ext Warranty" offered these days.

The MBUSA CPO Contract has to be purchased from a MB dealer. As we all know, dealers sort of charge "what they want" and prices are all over the place... I've dealt with this dealership and in particular, this finance manager, for SEVERAL years and she is the best of the best.... While I didn't buy my GL550 from this dealership this past couple of weeks - she moved mountains (again) to get me 3 years/75k extended coverage for under $3k... The peace of mind it gives me is worth it!
