I have been a member of MBWorld for years but lost faith after a bad dealer experience with my ml 55 amg (sold the car gave up on MBZ etc etc) Well I am back again and just got a 2005 CL 55 AMG in DESIGNO MOCHA BLACK woo hoo. I had an SLK 32 AMG that I thought was fast and powerful.....until I drove a CL 55! BEAST indeed (although It will never be driven to even close to its limits) I will post some pics when it arrives and would sure like to know how many of this particular package were built. During my nationwide search it seemed like almost every CL 55 was either black or silver. I am a member of the AMG lounge as well but have found no real info on exact production figures based on features etc.
Anyway Hi to all and its good to be back I am mostly a lurker but occasionally have something to add and now that I am retired I may become more active with all you whipper snappers!

I don't have the car yet it is being shipped. (enclosed of course!)It is a 2005 MOCHA BLACK CL 55 AMG DESIGNO and I have only seen one like it (a 2003) Mocha black seems to be very hard to portray in photos, I haven't found any pics that do the color justice.
My first coupe was a root beer 280 CE and what a great car it was...I don't know why I sold it now that I am older and wiser!
