Mercedes Benz C240 (W203) 2003 MODEL
Question service reader adjustment

hi everyone, i am a new member here...and i will need some kind fellas who can guide me through where necessary...meanwhile i have an issue that requires assistance. i own and drive a Mercedes Benz C240 (203) 2003 MODEL, the serves good, haven't any issues...and thank God i have a good mechanic who is an expert.

my concern is that, on my dash board screen, i keep having this message:

SERVICE A EXCEEDED WITH 2000 MILES, and i have serviced my car properly, how can i adjust the mileage on that to read the next service period?

i hope i am explicit enough...

thank you

awaiting helpful responses please as prompt as possible too.

Ayandi.

Service indicator reset and rollover bars

Hi

I am a new member, having purchased a 1999 clk 320 convertible recently.

As I intend servicing the vehicle myself, can anybody tell me if the service indicator reset is the same as that for the 2003 model?

Also, MB state that the rear headrests will automatically deploy when the hood is lowered. Mine don't. Is this due to incorrect information, or are mine not functioning correctly? Also, when they are raised or lowered by the console switch, the motor does not automatically cut out, but keeps operating until I take my finger off the switch. Is this correct, or a fault? If so, can you tell me how to fix it?

Regards,

Austinat.

Service indicator reset and roolover bar

Hi Leo

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, the PDF guide does not include the W208 model, of which mine is one. Does the W204 information include mine?

Also, do you know the answer to my query about the limit switches to the rollover bars?

Regards

Austinat

Austinat,

Check your service manual. The instructions should be in there.
