Hello from sunny California
Ron here in Orange County, California. Proud owner of a 2001 S55 AMG and 2006 R500 just acquired. Enjoying both and new to this forum but not new to Merceds as i have owned also:

Welcome back to MB.
I'm in SF area and wanted to ask you about XJR.
Like you, I've owned S55, E55, R500, E320 etc...and now thinking about XJR as it's fast and comfy, and not so common around town. Also, hearing these newer ones are much more reliable than old Jags. I've had ABC issues in the past as well as airmatics issues on the R500, and hearing the Jag suspension pretty reliable.
Anyone else have thoughts on the XJR?
