Hello from west central Florida.
A little background on me. I've been a heavy equipment mechanic / fabricator since 1977. I've had a lifelong knack for repairing & making things. It started with bicycles, go carts & mini bikes in the 60's & just kind of progressed from there. In my younger years I had my share of hot rod cars. Loud stinking money pits that ate parts constantly.
As I aged, I mellowed and evolved. And so did my automotive tastes.
My first Benz came into my life close to 10 years ago. I was car shopping for a low mile used creampuff. I found it in the form of a 2002 C320 wagon with 47k miles. This car served me well for the next 9 1/2 years and I recently sold it with 140k miles on it. Still looking & running great, just getting tired. These pics were from the for sale add. It sold in one day.
The next Benz in our life was a 2003 CLK320 that my wife found in Sarasota when her old Camaro was getting tired. It was in the low 40k mile range and lived with us for over 7 years.
And that brings me to the latest Benz, to replace my old wagon. A 2003 E320 with 60k miles. Another one owner creampuff that had a nice maintenance record from the dealer, fresh brakes & rotors and a clean carfax with no accidents or issues. I hope to get the same great service out of this one too that the last ones gave me. With all your help I think it's a good possibility.
