Mercedes Expert
Hello one and all. I just acquired an '88 560SL w/ almost 140 miles.
I intend to restore this car to its original glory. I need an expert to sit down with me and literally pick it apart, and I do mean pick apart. I'm looking for an expert who knows this car like the back of his hand. Car runs great but I think a tad rough. I need a mechanic(s) who know how to rebuild it if needs, timing belts, etc.
Also, being that I'm a novice, I' looking for the best 2/3 mechanics/restorers in Great SA. I have found several on line but haven't found in reviews that bolster their reputation. Hopefully, these mechanics are intimate with the car and know where to buy parts, regardless of the part required.
Can anyone weigh in with my challenge?
