New to MBWorld forum Bought a near new 2002 E430
Hello,
Good evening to all! I am a new member and thought I needed to introduce my self.
Brian Shoemaker - Ellijay, Ga.
bought a nearly new 2002 E430 last week.
Car was owned by an elderly couple that only put 5,300 miles on the car.
Tires still have the 4301 date codes
I changed the oil prior to taking the car for a test ride. Really impressed with the car and how well everything worked.
I had the AC charged due to how long it had set without being driven. As a shade tree mechanic I know that this is a bad thing for cars just to sit.
Since, the purchase I have put just over 1,000 miles and I feel really good about my purchase.
Look forward to keeping up with the forum and learning all the mechanical issues and fixes that a shade tree mechanic can do himself.
