2012 Mercedes C300

New Member Just Bought 2012 C300

Hi Guys,

I just bought a 2012 Mercedes Benz C300. It had 14,900 miles on it and no accidents, great shape, but not CPO.

A few things I'd like to know

1) How do you disable that coffee cup thing on the dash?

2) Should I get an extended warranty? I still have time to get it for 3.3K and wrap that up with the financing I have for the vehicle. Worth it? My 4yr/50K factory warranty will expire in 2016.

3) Aside from rubber mats, which I just ordered online, what other accessories/enhancements are good for keeping the car in good shape?

Luckily I keep it parked in my garage when I'm not driving it.

1) not sure if u can, but u may want to search on W204 forum...
2) it's always good to have extended warranty... if u r DIYer, then u may be able to get away with it...

3) define "good shape"...

Look at getting the cheap fitted trunk mat, I bought one off ebay for $15 or so from china.

But it has already caught 1 spill when a jug of soap popped a leak !

Get the warranty

everything I’ve read indicates extended warranty is a must buy on these cars. Shop around though. Any MB dealer can sell warranty and there is much markup. Good luck
