1st AMG
I just picked up my first AMG yesterday!!!! I found a 05 E55 with 82k miles for 16,500 and picked it up from a local dealer yesterday. Put the car up on a lift and went through just about everything. Axels, tranny, diff, shocks,engine all checked out clean and dry. Only issues that were fond are the oil cooler housing was leaking a little($100 fix) and the passenger side valve cover had some piled up grease($200 fix). Other then that the car is perfect and fast. Might be faster than my Viper
The dealer that was selling it said he had his mechanic put in the upgraded pulley(180mm) but hasn't done a tune on it. I'm guessing thats the 1st thing I have to do on this. And advice on where to get a reputable tune done. Can I get it done locally or do I have to contact someone out of state? I'm hoping I don't have to do it internationally lol. Will post some pics of our E Class Gang as soon as I get the car back from getting the leaks fixed. And I say E Class Gang cause my mother and brother currently drive an 06 E 350 and 04 E 500
