Fairytale story
I had been looking for a few years to replace my convertible. Nothing seemed to fit my needs and I never really consider the MB - categorized it as more of a dream car. Since I live in New England with college kids, paying for 2015 just wasn't practical for a number of reasons, not with standing the fact that a rear wheel luxury vehicle is going to have to be garaged during the winter. While scanning the web at 1 a.m., I came across a just posted out-of-place ad (above pic) for this 2012 convertible at a Ferrari dealership website. To make a long story short, they couldn't tell me anything about the car (being Ferrari specialists) and I know very little about the model. The only info they had was that one of their prized customers had just come in, bought a new vehicle, got home and decide his garage was now too crowded - so went back and wanted them to take the MBZ as a trade in. In order to keep him happy, they reluctantly did it, knowing full well they don't get the right demographic foot traffic at the dealership to sell it and make it worth their time and effort. They wanted to immediately get it out of their showroom so priced it well below book with a cash purchase. I was first to see it when I noticed they left out one key bit of information, I could not have been more excited - it has only 2,100 miles.
So now I'm a new, happy MBZ owner.
(with a lot of questions - LOL).
