Mercedes C180 2004
Hello and THANK YOU!

Hi guys.

I'll start by saying thank you for helping me around my new car (C180 2004)
I've read ALOT of threads before i joined, mostly about an issue I've been having with my car (rough idle when stopped) which i still haven't got to the bottom of yet, but what i have done with your help is eliminated possible causes, I've cleaned the throttle body, changed the MAF sensor (very costly and still hasn't resolved it) and tomorrow I'll be changing the vacuum hose. Hopefully this will put an end to the issue but if that doesn't resolve the problem I'll chamge the vacuum pump.

I'm very new to the whole DIY under the bonnet but with your knoledge and help at my disposal I'm sure I'll be a pro in no time.

Thanks again,

Daniel.

Make sure that your battery cables are clean & pos. & neg. are making unubstructed contact with battery posts. Clean with wire brush...give it a shot (not literally) Frank
