Hi All, I am considering to buy a (semi) new C-class but would like to ask if I can install an after market burl wood steering wheel, the new ones do not come with it even on the C300. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience on that?
Welcome, Ned! Be sure to post pictures of it once you get it. I am not too familiar with that question, but might have better luck posting that in the correct year C-class section of this forum. Good luck!

Ned,
First welcome to the forum!
I was able to find a steering wheel with Burl Walnut wood at the top, offered through Mercedes as an accessory, but it is only for 2008-2012 luxury models (according to the note in the system). What year C300 are you looking at? I do not think I would be able to track down an aftermarket steering wheel but I am sure I could help you with a Genuine one. Let me know if you want me to look into it for you!
The steering wheel I found looks like this (not sure if this is what you were after or not):

Thanks much for your reply. I am looking for a C-350 2014-2015, and might order a new one 2016. I suspect a burlwood steering wheel from E/SL/SLK-series needs to be installed on this new C-350 and I am not sure if it is compatible. If you do this as business let's talk off-line, my email is nedsaleh@yahoo.com.
That steering wheel is currently listed on our site at $820.10*. I am showing that it is on back order, so there is no ETA I can give if you were interested in purchasing it. I do want to mention that this is for the steering wheel only. The airbag will not be included. If you were interested you can get to the part on our site be clicking HERE.
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
204-460-20-03 Steering wheel is NLA, but I do have a distributor that is able to get the wheel if you're very interested in obtaining it. Would take about 10 days to get it in and then we can have it shipped out to you. Let me know if you're interested.
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, the steering wheel you are pointing me to is the WRONG one. I do not want to buy the wrong part, the one I am looking for is attached. Usually, it comes as an option on E-series and higher, I am trying to get it and install it on the C-350 (this is the model launched 2012 and beyond), it is a 3 spoke burlwood, I know you can order it from MB. The question that I have is that if it can be installed on the C-350.
I appreciate an opinion on that, I will buy the steering wheel ONLY if I know it can be installed.

Sorry, Ned. Answer was directed at Cody. My apologies. We can probably assist you with that part search. Probably would be easiest to give us a shout 888.280.7799 to have someone help you via over the phone to look up that product.
