My first MB
Hey guys,
New to the forum (obviously) My name is Jason and I just picked up my first Benz it's a 2000 ML430 that I snagged for 700 bucks needs some work but it runs and drives pretty damn well!
Pros
Runs and drives.
Shifts nicely.
Fairly clean.
interior is pretty decent for being 15 years old.
all the interior amenities work with the exception of the drivers side window.
Stereo systems sounds pretty good.
Cons
Driver side window won't roll up. ( I think it's due to the button because it's pretty ****ed.)
Front right side damage looks to be minor. Affected areas are hood headlight and bumper.
Dirty needs a good bath and vacuum. ( P.O. was a slob.)
Check engine light is on. (code read faulty pressure valve solenoid and faulty gas cap.)
SRS airbag light is on.
drivers side door handle inside is broken.
All in all i don't think it's a bad deal I have some work ahead of me to get her looking pretty again and fix those other issues.
I've never worked on a MB and know absolutely nothing about them, so try and go easy on me if I ask stupid questions lol
