E55 AMG
Yo!!!
Whats up guys!!! So i just purchased a new to me MB. It's a 2005 E55 AMG w/ 100k on the clock. i did tons of reading this past week on this site before pulling the trigger but i finally decided that it was too good of a deal to pass up. carfax was clean, always serviced at fletcher jones mb. The car is in great shape physically but i need to go over the entire thing just to make sure i have a reliable car. 1st thing on the list is an oil change and spark plugs/wires. Brakes are still good, tires are awesome. Would you guys suggest doing the timing belt/chain on it as well as the water pump? i still have a ton to learn about the car but thats why i joined. BTW this is my first euro car but i'm well aware of what i'm getting myself into....
lastly, if anyone has any suggestions as to what i should look over/replace and any reputable shops in the la/oc area that would be awesome!
always been into cars/trucks. i used to drive a 2014 accord sport, before that a subaru legacy 2.5 gt w/ 500 whp. i still have another toy which i completely built/fabricated myself. i currently work at king shocks in garden grove as a engineer/r&d/assembler for the race department.
heres a few pics of my previous toys, things i build at work and my new pride and joy!
and my new money pit. plans for this car are a mild tune and maybe a intake to help it breathe a bit better. i also want the car to sound a bit more aggresive as its a little too quiet for me so any suggestions as to what i may do to it for now without buying a full exhaust? once again thanks guys!

Welcome to MBWorld and grats on the clean w211 pickup. Great platform with a ton of power potential.
A lot of local SoCal MB guys go to Serge over at Benzworks (http://benzworks.com/) for our general service, repair, modification work so I'd suggest looking there. They have a STAR diagnostics machine.
Let us know if we can help you out upgrading her lighting to more modern whiter lighting.
