New member from the Eastern Shore of VA
Hello all~
I'm a new member and I've just purchased my second Mercedes Benz. We bought a 2009 550 CLK, my first Mercedes was my first car, a 1956 1/2 190 four door sedan. I bought it in 1975. It was in need of a lot of TLC, but with a new battery, a gas tank flush and fresh tank of gas the car started on the second try.
I'm definitely in love with our new one. The CLK 550 is a pleasure to drive and is extremely fast. I've had a lot of cars, but this one is the fastest. I did have a 1979 BMW 635csi Euro that may have given it a run for it's money! I also had a BMW 320i that was set up for racing in the P prepared category in the BMW Car Club, the P prepared category was for cars that had only suspension mods and therefore was the stock engine and pretty slow by most standards.
Anyway, I look forward to reading and contributing to this forum for Mercedes Benz.
