E250 AMG Sport Convertible
Probable soon to be owner
Hi All,
Joined up to do some research as currently looking at the E250 CDI AMG Sport cabriolet.
Currently have a Sabb 9-3 convertible which has served me very well, but went out of production in 2011. So looking for a replacement 4 seater convertible and the E class appeals over the alternatives such as the Audi A4 and BMW 3 series.
Budget is looking like a 2012/13 pre facelift model. Looked at the 350 where the power and smoothness appeals, but the economy doesn't. The 250 seems to be a similar price to the 220, so doesn't seem much point in dropping to that model, so the middle of the road makes the most sense.
From what I have read, the neck scarf system isn't worth holding out for. Command seems to be the stereo of choice, but seems to be quite rare, so may end up with the Audio 20 with Nav. Only other option I have seen is the memory seats, which although a bonus don't feel like a must have (mainly me driving anyway).
Anything I should be holding out for in the car of choice?
