1997 S320 SWB
S320 SWB W140
Hello. I'm brand new to the forum. I'm seeking info on front seats, particularly the driver seat. I own a 1997 S320 SWB that I'm looking to replace. I have an unheated driver's seat, without the special lumbar package. It just has the 0-5 dial and doesn't have the more complex one with the separate bolsters and controls for the back of the seat (the 0-5 wheel and the 4 pushbuttons).
I have a bad back and the 1997 S320 SWB seat, no heat, no extra bolsters is very comfortable/tolerable for my back.
My question is: Do other S320s SWB, S420, or S500 W140s in the 1995 through 1999 have that same, identical seat to the 1997 SWB seat, if it doesn't have the heat (which is usually seen) and doesn't have the extra lumbar buttons?
Any help would be appreciated because if I could shop for a replacement, with other than just the 1997 as a candidate, I could choose from a lot more vehicles.
