Weistec stage 2 kit without long tube headers
Currently running a Cls63 with a Weistec stage 1 kit and would like to bump it to stage 2 ASAP. I have Renntech shorty headers and 3' pipe from header all the way back to the tips. No mufflers , cats, or resonators. Weistecs exhaust is 5k and it's a long tube header which eliminates the stock cats and replaces with high flow cats but runs 3' pipe to the stock resonators and then keeps the stock mufflers as well. I've been told by them it won't flow enough but I find it hard to believe that the long tube header with high flow cats and stock resonators and mufflers will flow more than a Renntech short header straight to 3' pipe with an X pipe in the middle connecting them and straight stainless 3' pipe all the way out to tips. What are your guys thoughts? I ordered the mbh long tube header cause Weistec doenst have any long tubes in stock but do you guys think my set up will flow enough to power the stage 2 without melting pistons and breaking things in the mean time. I just don't see this making any sense and think that my set up would flow just as much if not more. Need some Thoughts please??
