1998 Mercedes-Benz ML320
MB Newbie!!
Hi all! I'm posting here to get feedback from some of you MB enthusiasts. I am considering purchasing a used 1998 Mercedes-Benz ML320 truck. Only has 2 previous owners, clean title and 80,000 original miles.
Does anyone have any input here? Common issues with this model? Questions I should ask? Any pointers in general would be greatly appreciated. Also, I have never had good luck with used cars in the past so I am trying to do as much research as possible. I know that maintenance on a luxury German vehicle can be expensive, so I want to get as much knowledge on this as I can before I commit. I plan on doing basic services myself to cut cost and save money (oil/fluid changes, brakes etc)

Welcome to MBWorld. Obviously you have the general used car guidance of making sure maintenance was performed, check for rust, check for paint deterioration, etc, etc

Welcome to MBWorld! If it's a private party sale, always a good idea to possibly get a pre-pursuance inspection by an independent MB certified shop as they'll know what to look out for. Good luck with your purchase.
