Lexus & Acura convert to MB
I have come to the German Side!
Owning Acura and Lexus vehicles for the last 16 years, it's about time for me to get into German Luxury. I picked up my 1997 E420 about 8 months ago. I enjoy it quite a bit. It's a little rough with a few dents that are more than normal wear and tear, but the interior is fantastic, and no rust.
It's hitting the major maintenance time period as this weekend I have changed the air filter, cabin filter, and coolant. And last night on of my headlights and side markers went out, and it started to backfire... All normal maintenance items so I'm not too scared yet.
The biggest thing that's been bugging me is the left tail light doesn't seem to have a good connection to power, so I may be swapping out my tail lights. I appreciate any suggestions.

Let us know if you want to take the opportunity of the dead lights to upgrade to HIDs and LEDs to give her a modern facelift with whiter lighting. As for the tail light, check the harness with a meter. Could be a simple fix with wire replacement.
