2009 CLK 350
New 2009 CLK 359 owner
09 CLK 350. Single owner car but lacking in maintenance records. Checked to make sure the engine and transmission fell outside the range of know issues. Beautiful car and drive like a dream. New proud Papa! Any suggestions would be much appreciated concerning maintenance or upkeep.

Welcome to MBWorld. Grats on the pickup. Looks to be in excellent condition. Lacking maintenance record is troubling. No extended warranty?

Carfax was clean single owner car.Engine spotless. Interior very clean with very minimal signs of wear and all switchgear works. This car was loved by the previous owner. You can only recondition a car so much at a dealership as a trade in. I figured it had to have been maintained by DIY or Indy. I did get in writing from dealer all scheduled maintenance up to this point of purchase was done and maintenance B showing due in 9998 miles .Extended warranty was offered but only through a company called Easycare as this car was not a CPO. After some research about this company they do everything possible to not pay a claim. The cost was upwards of 2600.00 for 2yrs. Figured I would just put that money to use with any maintenance I should do now. I'm reading through the forum and trying to get as much information as I can. This is my 1st Mbz or German car for that matter. I was always Leary of high maintenance cost but now with all the information online, tutorials, and videos I feel better about purchasing a mbz. I am a DIY and have maintained my own cars throughout the years. . I tried to find the best car for the money I could spend.I hope I made the right decision.
