Back in the MB-Tex saddle after many years! Having owned two Benz Diesels in the past ('72 and '83 240d), I took a 15yr diesel detour into the land of the VW TDI (gasp!). Emissions scandal recently cured me, and after several months of searching for an '05/06 cdi, I recently drove a "new" (1 owner garaged dealer serviced creampuff) 2005 E320 CDI from it's hometown in Colorado Springs to LA.
Was glad to find a sunroof-delete car with rear fold-down seats. Easily transports my 6'3 frame and 9ft surfboard. Goliath is his name (a bow to the torque in this beast) driven by David (that's me).
