03 ML350
New owner of a very used 03 ml350.

A used car dealer friend of mine called me up about a stolen recovery mercedes that they bought in a lot sale. It looks terrible, and has been bashed with what looks like a baseball bat and keyed many times over. Whoever owned this vehicle before me obviously made someone very, very mad...
But it drives like a dream. It has 214,000 miles on it but has service records from mercedes up until 190,000.
I've got a lot of work to do cosmetically, and to the interior. (It looks like the cops may have pulled it apart inside searching for what I can only figure to be drugs) because clips on every panel arebroken and the 3 screw retainers on the panels themselves have been ripped through.

But for $1,200 I could not pass this car up.
I'll definitely document my repair process on the forums, but for now, what's with mercedes not making keys for this thing anymore?!

Welcome to MBWorld. Got pics of her current damaged condition? Planning on restoring back to OEM look or going with aftermarket body kit to replace the damaged exterior?
