Newbie to MB and loving it!! 2006 ML500
Hi Guys,
Just purchased the first MB and wow I am loving it!! I have always been a V8 fan but driving a ML500 is another thing all together. She purrs like a kitten (with maybe a LARGE furr ball in it's throat!!). I am based in New Zealand but no stress I get parts from the USA in less than a week.
The first question someone maybe able to help me on: Can the running boards on a 2013 W166 fit a 2006 W164? I have found a rare find on a crashed car with mint running boards but am keen to know if that fit (brackets in the same spot?) before purchasing. Can someone please let me know?

Welcome to MBWorld. I'd pose that running board question in the w164 subforum (https://mbworld.org/forums/m-class-w164-72/) and maybe even the w166 (https://mbworld.org/forums/new-m-class-w166-149/), although my first inclination is no. Did a quick part check for you and aftermarket running boards seem to be very specific in applications between w164 and w166 and if they were cross compatible, you know those aftermarket vendors would have been advertising it for both models.
