Hi, My name is Ed. I'm very new to this forum. I have a 1990 Mercedes 560 SEC. It's in great condition, always been garaged and has 134,000 miles on it and everything works except for one small thing. I cannot lock the door lock buttons from inside the car. The buttons will not push down to lock the doors. All locks work from outside the car, from either door or from the Trunk. The door lock buttons inside the car also go down into the locking position when using the key from outside the car, as I just stated. From the passenger door and from the trunk. I've had people tell me that the car was designed that way, not being able to lock the doors from the inside. This does not sound right to me.I would appreciate greatly any suggestions. I will take some picts tomorrow to send in.
