Just joined the ranks with my first MB purchase. Picked up a 2002 S600, black over tan, as a project about a month ago. Working on pulling the tandem pump now, and I have a couple hydraulic lines to replace, then some little stuff, but I can already tell it's going to be a blast to drive. I'm looking forward to getting it on the road.
I'm excited to be here, it seems like there's a great community and I'm happy to finally be a part of it.
Here's a couple shots of my ride. Doesn't look like much now, but I got it for a song and I think it'll clean up nicely. I'm going to detail it and then take it out for some glamour shots once I get it back into shape.
Welcome to MBWorld and grats on the pickup. Looks like she had a clear bra on so that should help with protecting the paint by the previous owner. Good luck on her though. She's a great land yacht.
Let us know if you ever want to also upgrade her lighting to more modern whiter LED/HIDs. We have plug and play units for you
