Hello from Texas!
Hi, y'all. New member from The Woodlands, TX, north of Houston. We bought our first MB Sept. 9. A 2014 ML350 2w CPO. Lots of options which we are slowing learning about. I am a forum member for my 1967 GTO and 2013 Durango, which I understand is built on an MB chassis. I hope to learn all there is to know with the help of forum members here. I understand the Search function and promise that I will use it before posting a question. I have a few car care tips which I can share as circumstances permit (wanna know how to stop your windshield wipers from skipping and streaking? You won't believe the solution!).

Welcome and enjoy your new ML350. While I'm a Yankee, I'm a big fan of the Lone Star State.
Gotta know your wiper tip- this is like who shot JR!

Actually I was born and raised in NJ. Moved to Savannah, then back to NJ, then to Houston, then back to NJ, then to New Orleans and finally to The Woodlands in 1996. Here's the trick. Over time, glass picks up contaminants. Wax from automatic car washes, truck fumes depositing crap, hard water deposits. So you think your wiper blades are the culprit, when in fact it's the glass. In a mid '90's episode of Goss' Garage, he showed this GM glass cleaning product. It was actually repackaged Bon Ami. I didn't know this when I went to the local Chevy dealer to buy it. The parts guy was kinda incredulous, but he found it on a shelf. I have used it 4 or 5 times on different cars and it works like a charm. Current Bon Ami containers specifically say not to use on glass. But I have with no problems. You can also use it on all the other glass to removes deposits, especially water spots.
