Hey everybody,
I bought my new project a week ago today. An 06 E320CDI. It was a toss between a BMW 335D or the CDI. AND I chose comfort and reliability over a bit a spirited driving.
About my boy: decided it's not a girl because I refuse to spend a single dollar on a female right now haha. 196,000 miles on it. Black paint, black leather with the wood trim.
Now the bad... I jumped the gun a bit and bought it with a couple of issues. Radiator fan running the whole time engine is running, and an srs light. Well now I've got a display malfunction and "cruise control- visit workshop" and service brakes that I've narrowed down to the rear. Dealership was booked 3 weeks so I've gone to a couple independents trying to pinpoint the problems, the OBD2 port scanning fails to communicate with ecu. I've sunknown my teeth into finding the issue and believe I have honed in on the central gateway module. Placed it on order. Well there's my life story...
