Been Around the Block
Hey folks,
My name's Denis. I've been around previously with a C36 AMG, I'm one of the few (only?) people who rewired one of those by hand (throttle body, engine hardness 1 & 2, transmission harness) due to the biodegradable wire insulation in '96s. Did work on the suspension, put in a 16v Cosworth LSD into the W202 housing and ended up winning the novice autocross class at the FCSCC chapter in Connecticut.
I still get PMs in my inbox about how much I charge for those, haha.
I'm back again for another round of taking something interesting and making it more interesting.
This time the stakes and the potential rewards are higher and I'm backed by a wonderful company full of friends and great people.
You may have heard of us, we're FCP Euro.
We've already built a W204 race car that took it's first victories at AER Road Atlanta very recently and now we are going to explore how to make the W211 E55 AMG into an even more exciting but completely streetable platform.
Without delivering too many empty promises and hype, I can safely say that I am very excited to be involved with the Mercedes platform again. We have a big appetite for awesome and all of our findings will be released back into community for y'all to enjoy.
You will hear from me shortly, fam
