Hello all. New member, been lurking since I realized an S class was in my future. Currently own a modified 95 Lexus LS400, which I love, except for the lack of power. So, I pick up an 03 S55 this Friday. I anticipate mods as funds allow, so free and cheap will come first...
There is a lot of valuable information on this site, I learned a lot in my lurking. I'm not new to forums, modding or even life itself, but this will be my first Mercedes. I currently have a Yukon, a Silverado, the Lexus and a fairly heavily modified Busa. I've owned far too many vehicles to list, everything from fox bodies to lifted K5's to slammed crew cab duallys. (Yes, several of each of them thru the years.) Lifted or lowered, fast or cruisers, the common theme of my automotive history is simple: Stock sucks!
Looking forward to learning more, and making this new car my own.
