Mercedes Carlsson CLK 320
New member - CLK 320 Carlsson
Good Evening folks, I've recently joined the forum but I've had my car for a few years now. It started life as a CLK 320 Avantgarde but those nice folks at Carlsson were employed by the previous owner to make a few performance changes, so it now has a supercharger and sits on lower springs with a few minor body mods as well. The result is an engine which throws out over 300 bhp which means it's certainly not lacking in the get up and go department. Although the fuel costs can be a bit frightening with prolonged use of a heavy right foot. I've attached some pics although these are from a few years ago. The car paintwork and alloys are in need of tlc which will be done in the next few weeks so I'll hopefully put some new pics up after it's been done. Unfortunately the car had brake fluid thrown down one side a couple of years ago, damaging both alloys and the rear quarter panel so I got that all fixed and the alloys refurbed at the same time. Sadly it became apparent after a while that the alloy refurb was a botch and corrosion has started to set in quite badly, so I want to get them done properly this time. Also, just to cheer me up, some ***** keyed the the same rear quater panel, pretty much the full length of the panel which needs to be repaired. After that it's getting a full detail and hopefully will look the dogs bollocks again. I'm also think of either replacing the front grill with a black one, or respraying it.
