mercedes w208 clk 230 kompressor convertible
Just saying hi
Just joined and saying hi.
I have an clk w208 230 kompressor convertible. It has a few problems which i hope to gain knowledge from folks with more experience on these cars.
Had quite a few classic Mercs over the years but never a kompressor.
190e 2.0l auto [loved it to bits had it years]
190e 2.6l auto sportline
190e 2.3l 16v cosworth
300se [lovely old barge]
c180 esprit 1999[crashed badly]
Mercedes Vito Traveliner[used as my plasterers van for 8 years, loved it. Only ever let me down once and that was only the starter motor]
But now i have my weekend clk convertible.

Maff let me be one of the first to welcome you to the forum. Nice car .One of my bext cars will be a convertable . But i need to shoe horn the war depot [wife ] from the garage haha .She has this Nisan Micra in there right now.. Only sees daylight once a week.

Thank mate.
Try talk her into an weekend slk instead of micra, it has a proper handbrake and everything.Troublesome things wifes, can't live with em or without em.

Your right . But she wont part with the little beast .Only 12.000 on the clock .And 2003 in the year . Not worth a lot .She said it will last her just to pop to the shops . I will have a nice top of the range merc for about 30 min .That will be the ride to the crematorium lol Just have to play with my old W124 till then .
