New member of checking in!!
Hi everyone, I'm Chris, new member of this wonderful forum. I've been long own Mercedes vehicle but haven't got a chance to join this forum. Quick bio about me. I stay in Georgia down in Henry county. I used to be a gear head in the Honda scene, from boosted integra type R B18C5 to RSx type S K20A, then to BMW E36 M3, E46 M3, 5 and 7 series and the lovely E90 335i N54... then I finally settle my taste on Mercedes Benz. For 5 years now, I've been sticking with Mercedes and love it. So I decided to share my thoughts and joint the this forum. My current rides are daily W209 CLK55 Kleemann Supercharger and Weekend W211 E55... the pics of my 2005 CLK55 is before I convert the front end to the 2006 clk bumper... so let me know what's your thought on it..

Welcome to MBWorld Chris. Looks like you've had quite a vehicular run before settling with the 3 pointed star. Both are damn clean and powerful specimens. Surprised it's not the other way around with the w211 as the daily and that beast of a 209 as your weekend

Thanks AZN, I've always love the M113K in stock form. It has lots of potential to be more powerful but haven't got enough time to do it. My work schedule and family time doesn't allow me much time to do what I wanted with the E55. The CLK55 started life pretty simple with me. Nothing fancy, just H&R lowering spring, custom intake, custom quad exhaust, CLS 63 steering wheel upgrade, SL55 wheels with rad lug, struts brace and lower cross member brace. Later the engine started to burn oil a quart every 300 miles. I've tried valve seals but didn't fix the problem. So I bought a used CLK55 motor from LKQ and swap it out. But the CLK55 didn't seem fast and torquey enough like the E55 AMG, I expect a more brute power from AMG division, so I turn to Kleemann. I just got finish with the kleemann Blower installation a few weeks ago. I'm still trying to get all the glitch fix. But other than that the CLK55 is fast as the e55 now.....btw my wife drive a W204 Class 4-matric white color like your. Lol

I've always love brute power!!
Thanks for the welcome. I've always love brute power and torque... and Mercedes V8 are good at it!!! Only thing that disappoint me is that the handling is not sharp and crisp as BMW!!! But I don't track my car like I used to... so I'm very happy with it...

Here the update on my 2005 CLK55 kleemann front end update. The 2005 CLK55 front fascia look like my W211 E55, so I wanted a fresh updated look. So I've swap it out with a 2007 CLK550amg front end... and also the rear tail lights too...
