SL500 R129 - project on a budget
Hi all,
Octavian here, from Edmonton - Canada.
Picked up a 1991 SL500 R129 last summer and got many ideas for it, but I'm trying to keep it cost efficient.
Always loved cars and had a few fun ones.
2016 Nissan GTR (1/4 mile @11.36)
2015 C63 AMG 507 - Weistec Supercharged Stage 1 (11.46) - selling this car was my biggest mistake....
1994 Toyota Supra Turbo 6 Spd JDM
Other than that, I love guns and shooting long distance.
This week the SL is getting tires mounted on the rims, fingers crossed that they'll fit.
Mods for the rest of the month, parts are on order:
-Hood heat shield install
-Tail lights 1st face lifts
-C63 front brakes.
-and maintenance.
Need some help/advice with the break swap. Anyone here got any advice from doing this before?
Also got some play in what I think it is the Air Compressor Pulley (bottom left on the belt diagram), not sure if I can only replace the pulley and not the whole unit.
Cheers,
Octavian
