New SoCal Member ~ Pre-Purchase Research
Greetings enthusiasts ! I'm near Los Angeles, a Motorsports NUT, avid forum member for Numerous marques. I like to do (MOST) of my own work on vehicles. Aerospace background, so yes, I'm pretty ****.
I have been smitten with several Benz models. My sister had an SL550 that was very enjoyable to drive. Have always appreciated the subtle muscularity of the AMG marques.
I've found the site as I do pre-purchase research. Reading the "What to look for" threads. Gaining Knowledge.
My particular target is a CLK Coupe. Don't mind well-cared-for cars that are a decade old. LOVE MB Silver (no manufacturer does Silver like MB). Painted several (race) vehicles MB Brilliant Silver.
Anyway, enthusiastically looking forward to finding that gem.

STILL on 'the hunt'. Had a PPI done on an "immaculate" CLK yesterday (owner's adjective). THANK HEAVEN that I popped for a PPI !!! FANTASTIC shop in MiraMar, CA found a couple GRAND in Needed Maintenance !
